Do I need to do anything to prepare for my bodywork session?
Yes. Drink plenty of water the day before, the day of and the day after to assist your body in the process of detoxing.
Where will my bodywork session take place?
In a comfortable, private treatment room. You'll be welcomed to my massage suite by the soothing scent of pure, essential oils as soon as you enter the front door. Allow your senses to guide you to my space where you'll hear gentle music which will lull you into a relaxed state. You'll lie down and begin your magical healing process on a comfortable, heated table.
Must I be completely undressed?
You should undress to your level of comfort. For Reflexology, I only need access to your feet, lower calves, forearms, hands, head and face. For Raindrop Therapy I need access to your feet and spine. You will undress/dress in private and you will be properly draped during the entire session.
What should I do during the bodywork session?
Prior to your bodywork, feel free to ask me any questions about the technique or the upcoming session. During the bodywork session, I ask only one thing of my clients.... that they relax and allow themselves to "go deep". Many people just close their eyes and relax to the point of falling asleep. If you have any questions regarding the session or about the particular technique you are receiving, feel free to ask. And by all means, let me know if my pressure is too heavy or if you'd like me to go deeper. Don't worry... if you snore, it's a compliment to the massage therapist.
How will I feel after the bodywork session?
Most clients feel very relaxed and, sometimes, a bit "loopy". You'll likely experience more flexibility and freedom from long-term aches and pains. You'll feel regenerated to a heightened awareness, and greater productivity which can last for days and days.
